Rut Bryk Kaakeli SOLD OUT!

Rut Bryk(ルート・ブリュック)を代表する作品、幾何学模様の陶板です。

大学の建築学科の合格通知を受け取っていたほど、ルートの建築への想いは真摯なものでした。1950年代後半からルートは建築への想いを形にし始めます。様々な模様や釉薬で装飾したタイル作品の制作をスタートさせます。様々な幾何学体や植物模様を用いたタイルは一つでも美しいのですが、ルートはそれを組み合わせることで、集合としての新たな美を生み出します。作品を組み合わせることで立方体を構成し、建物や壁や床を作り上げることで【都市】を表現した作品をも作り上げました。作品の並べ方によって姿を変化させ、新たに意味を持たせるその手法はルートが「作品の意味について語るのを嫌った」姿勢にも通じるものがあります。鑑賞者の側で飾り方を変え、自分だけの意味を持たせる、そんな楽しみ方が出来る作品と言えるのではないでしょうか。一枚だけでも複数枚でも、自分だけの飾り方で楽しんで欲しい作品です。

細かなダメージのあるものが多い幾何学模様の陶板ですが、こちらは希少な完品です。ダメージが作品の評価、価格に大きく反映される幾何学模様の陶板ですので、コレクターの方におススメしたいコンディションの逸品です。
ルートはそれぞれの作品に異なる釉薬や文様を施し、一つとして同じ作品を作らなかったため、こちらも唯一のものとなります。
